Beg, borrow and/or steal appears to be the premise for Vegas Gallery's forthcoming exhibition, Loose Booty, which sees artists from Geneva and London join forces. Featuring a jumble of manipulated artworks from the likes of Alexandre Bianchini, Jeff McMillan, Guy Sherwin and Eileen Simpson, the materials utilised — from canvases to ceramics and 16mm black-and-white film reels — were scavenged from flea markets, junkyards and dusty attics before being reworked into contemporary pieces that spill out onto the surrounding alleys of Brick Lane, further emphasising the show's "waste not, want not" principle.
