Open-mic night Toynbee's Got Talent is another in a series of innovative and entertaining Thursday evenings at Toynbee Studios. Professionals and audience members alike take it in turns to impress the crowd with their best party tricks. Among the acts bringing a pro-sumer twist to variety performance tonight are cabaret favourites I'd Tap That, tapping their way through indie-rock and UK garage hits, and the hip-rolling, hula-hooper Betty Hoops. Storytelling, literary discussions and performances promise to keep future Thursdays just as fresh.
