Provocateur photographer JR transforms Soho into a teeming favela for his new exhibition, 28 Millimetres: Women. The Parisian snapper takes over the Lazarides Gallery’s Greek Street and Charing Cross Road sites as well as the alleyways between them for an ambitious exploration of the abject poverty and violence of Rio de Janeiro's slums. Accompanying the arresting portraits are phone numbers for exhibition-goers to call in order to hear each individual's harrowing story.
