Paperweight return from their sell-out Edinburgh season clutching a Scotsman Fringe First Award to show the Camden People's Theatre how absurdist comedy is done. Tom Frankland and Sebastien Lawson star as hapless duo Harold and Anthony in this Beckett-esque take on the stark and uncompromising banalities of office administration. The 70-minute tragi-comedy forsakes words for a brutal depiction of unrelenting routine: making tea, filing papers and answering the phone build to a poignant crescendo of private frustration and uncontrollable hysteria.
