In FlHip FlHop, Matt Bailey and Joey D (members of the theatrical group Rannel) form a harmonious union from elements of comedy and hip-hop. The pair, constantly attempting to outdo each other with displays of MCing, DJing and beatboxing, use faux braggadocio (tongues are placed firmly in cheeks) to neatly encapsulate the elemental forces of hip-hop culture into a tight stage show. FlHip FlHop is part of the Scratch Festival and Breakin' Convention, the hip-hop extravaganza.
