Wig Out! transforms the Royal Court into a heady cabaret club night of catwalk face-offs, toe-tapping tunes and coiffure rivalry. The story, set under the eaves of dazzling drag queen refuge House of Light, follows the love affair between wig-wearing diva Nina and lipstick- and rouge-free Wilson. Tarell Alvin McCraney's tender and outlandish play, is directed by Dominic Cooke, gloriously flouts gender constructs as the housemates preen for the biggest catwalk showdown of their glamorous lives.
