Beyond Borders

Beyond Borders is a group show featuring artists who graduated during the past couple of years. Although seven of the eight exhibitors attended art school in London, they hail from all over the globe and their work is inspired by their countries of origin. Ghanian Larry Achiampong draws on his heritage in mixed-media works that include mocked-up Evening Standard headline boards and petrol bombs realised in African fabrics; Guler Ates, from Turkey, creates prints exploring the experience of Muslim women; and Indian Preeti Sood contrasts themes of decay with the vivid colours of her homeland.
