The StoneCrabs theatre company team up with the Albany in Deptford for this three-day festival featuring staged readings of nine cracking and varied plays. The festival is designed to showcase the growning talents of 11 members of the company's BBC-sponsored Theatre Training Programme: nine directors, one actor and a lighting designer. Over the last few months, the company has been holding auditions for actors to read the plays, which include F.G. Lorca's Love of Don Perlimplin, Mark Ravenhill's Faust is Dead and The Lesson by Eugene Ionesco, and are now ready to wow us with their interpretations.
