The annual Winter Festival rolls into Bankside, bringing with it an attractive combination of mulled wine, festive tradition and Siberian huskies. While it may no longer be held on a frozen-over Thames, a lantern parade featuring more than two hundred school children remains a riverside sight to behold. The remainder of the programme includes a choir-accompanied Borough Christmas Market, a craft and design fair at Menier Gallery, Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music and sled rides for all.
