Eamonn McCabe's new exhibition is a fascinating journey into the environments in which the country's leading writers produce their masterpieces. These 21 photographs of writers' rooms provide a deliciously voyeuristic peek into the creative spaces of literary heavyweights. Martin Amis, Hanif Kureishi, Andrew Motion and Ian Rankin are among the wordsmiths uncovered, along with legendary children's writers Roald Dahl and Jacqueline Wilson. Though each shot is accompanied by the writers' own descriptions of their habitats, the ultimate judgement lies with the viewer.
