Though 2007 was the year of disco revival, Disco Bloodbath steps things up another notch. The monthly basement party is located in a tiny hush-hush venue that boasts a great sound system — by means of which it's impossible to stand too far from a speaker — while, on the decks, resident DJs Damon Martin, Ben Pistor and Dan Beaumont provide the best of original soulful disco (i.e., before it went all cheesy and mainstream). This evening's special guest is DJ Tako from legendary CBS net radio, supporter of several electronic-music genres, from dark industrial to Italo disco and synth pop.
