For 40 years, the Association of Photographers has been looking after the best interests of snappers across the globe. New members join the exclusive club each year, and Portfolio now showcases the work of 11 photographers that have recently been taken into the fold. Highlights include Giles Angel's striking still lifes and quirky portraits, architectural photographer Ellie Laycock's panoramic shots of the London cityscape and Gavin Gough's colourful travel images, which convey the vibrancy of Asian and Middle Eastern cultures without cliché or contrivance.
