Music: Electronic Colleen w/ Max De Wardener feat. the Elysian String Quartet and Vox Cordis

The Arctic Circle is a loose group of musicians who straddle the fence between classical and electronic music. Tonight, the crossover-happy collective presents Colleen (aka French experimentalist Cécile Schott) who artfully combines modern electronic-composition techniques with archaic instruments like the viola da gamba, a seven-string ancestor of the cello. Colleen gets moody accompaniment from Max De Wardener, who plays the half-instrument/half-art installation known as the cloud-chamber bowl, along with the Elysian String Quartet and Vox Cordis choir.
