Performing Arts: Comedy/Improv A Spoonful of Poison

The Rhythm Factory hosts a weekly open-mic night called A Spoonful of Poison, and for those who dare, it's an unforgettable experience. Billed as "the best in the known universe", the evening features a rotating roster of DJs to fill the gaps between comedians, poets, performers and musicians. There are but a few rules: covers are strictly forbidden, acoustic folk is frowned upon and it's fair to say the odder the act, the better. Tonight's guests include Trombone Poetry alongside comedian Marc MacGonagle, and the evening's hosted by Vis the Spoon and DJ Phantom Skater.
