More Flavor: Party St Patrick's Day at the Auld Shillelagh

Publicans Tom and Angus are well versed in the art of the St. Patrick's Day celebration. The Auld Shillelagh is always a fine place to go for a pint of the black stuff, and silly hats come staple, but the narrow Stoke Newington boozer has plenty more in store. Free hearty victuals — namely Irish stew and eye-glazing cabbage and bacon — are served all day. Come six o'clock, resident musicians pull out fiddles and bodhráns for their own take on traditional Irish music (tinged with a little A-Ha) to ensure true Emerald Isle madness into the wee hours.
