Ku Bar's Gay Tea Dance is a celebrated event, guarded zealously by hostess Lady Lloyd at the door. Tracing its roots back to the French colonisation of Morocco, the tea dance is a way to cap off the weekend with an afternoon swing session — there won't be any couples waltzing or attempting the Charleston at this particular fest, though you may see a tranny or two drop some moves you never heard of before. With DJs Prince Nelly and Dusty, the tunes come hard and fast, swinging you painlessly into Monday morning.
