Forget about REM's one-off gig at the Royal Albert Hall; the hottest ticket tonight is for virulent, hard rock in Camden. Rotten Sound hail from Finland, where they've been damaging eardrums and twisting psyches since 1993. Their sound — which picks up the baton from Napalm Death, then adds ferocious technical mastery, intelligent grindcore and lyrical social slewing — keeps on getting better. Expect a rendition of work from January's LP Cycles (Spinefarm), mixing relentless riffing with moments of melody in an orgiastic celebration of noise.
