In Shattered Dreams: Israel and the Palestinians, acclaimed press photographer Judah Passow portrays Israel's past, conflicted present and uncertain future. A personal journey through both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the exhibition displays Passow's trademark high-contrast monochrome photography and evokes both the aspirations and the ideals of a nation. Passow's own experience of fighting for and growing up in Israel adds further credibility to the internalised accounts of the West Bank, Gaza and Lebanon. Released to coincide with the 60th anniversary of Israel's declaration of independence, this compassionate collection of images captures the region's rich heritage and unknown future.
