Performing Arts: Theatre Contains Violence

The Lyric Hammersmith present Contains Violence, a site-specific theatrical performance that plays out beyond the stage and into office windows along West London's skyline. At dusk on the Lyric terrace, audience members are handed binoculars and headphones and are invited to take on the role of voyeur and eavesdropper in order to piece together the unfolding action in this macabre thriller. Reminiscent of Hitchcock’s Rear Window (1954), Contains Violence is written and directed by David Rosenberg, an art maestro renowned for his interactive take on theatre.
