More Flavor: Discussion United Colours of Art

A panel of artists and arts professionals gather at the ICA to ponder the art world's ability to bridge cultural differences. On one hand, it appears that this world, brimming as it is with international talent, has exemplary open borders; on the other, artists' backgrounds frequently seem exoticised, as ethnic and national identities become brands. Drawing on their own experiences, artists Wolfgang Tillmans, Jorge Pardo and Jananne Al-Ani hash it out with art critic and historian Marcus Verhagen and chair Iwona Blazwick, director of the Whitechapel art gallery.
