Today's performances at Camden's Etcetera Theatre mark the tenth anniversary of V-Day, an international campaign to end violence against women and girls. The show draws upon a collection of monologues by renowned authors and playwrights, in which Maya Angelou surveys women's work; Dave Eggers writes about a kidnapping in Sudan; Edward Albee explores the world of S&M; and Jane Fonda celebrates women reclaiming their mojo. All proceeds benefit the Helen Bamber Foundation, a human-rights group that provides support for survivors of sex trafficking.
