More Flavor: Festival Flamenco Festival 2008

For a frankly exhausting display of barnstorming footwork and hot-blooded passion, head to Sadler's Wells for the fifth annual Flamenco Festival. As part of a two-week programme that nods to traditional gypsy roots as well as more risqué, contemporary approaches, Spanish dancer and choreographer Maria Pages brings her Moorish and Arabic-hybrid to the stage this evening. Elsewhere, celebrated flamenco family Los Farruco perform, as do the fast 'n furious Mujeres and avant-garde artist Israel Galván, bestowing a fresh twist to the proceedings. And if you feel your own feet start to twitch, there's also a selection of classes and workshops for wannabe toe-tappers.
