Performing Arts: Comedy Your Line or Mine: The Six Nations

While improvised comedy can make for great radio and TV, there's not much made-up mirth on today's live circuit. Young independent company Abandon Theatre, however, have the flexibility and panache to make such comedy work on stage. As their first-year comedy residency at the Landor draws to a close, the gang present their own audience-focused take on off-the-cuff humour. Having performed the format at the Edinburgh Fringe for the last few years, AT update the context loosely around the Six Nations Championship — which actually relates to the competitive element and the number of entertainers, rather than a load of rugby jokes.
