Hordes of architects and designers descend upon Islington's Business Design Centre for this year's Surface Design Show. Scheduled lectures include Imagining into Production (which looks at the spirit of experimentalism), Innovation in Design and Solid Surfaces, Sculpted Space. New to this year's proceedings is Illuminating Surfaces, which explores the relationship between light and materials, as well as an exclusive evening with controversial architect Will Alsop.
