Art Monologue/Dialogue Part II

Monologue/Dialogue II's artists use sculpture, painting and installation to convey their own vision of Bangkok. Nathaniel Rackowe's urban, fluorescent installations are juxtaposed with Panya Vijinthanasarn's paintings of traditional Buddha images pocked with fruit peel and gold leaf. Eric Bainbridge's minimal New Modernist structures echo his escape from the Khao San Road, and Rana Begum's glossy, ochre creations of electrical tape and geometric patterns find rhythm in their repetition. Sansern Milindasuta's blend of pencil drawings and pared-down sculpture offer a monochrome approach.
