If you usually spend your weekends shivering at a secret car-park rave, then this old-fashioned evening with the jitterbugging Attic Cats might be a bit of a shock. Retro glamour is de rigueur at this Swingland-hosted one-off shakedown, with vintage hairstylist Nina keeping partygoers perfectly coiffed. Once you've got your outfit sorted, hit the dance floor with jiving pros and amateurs, or go all out and sign up for the Lindy Hop and Charleston competitions. If all else fails, you can always do that cartoon eye-popping/jaw-dropping thing at the cabaret and fall back on the dolled-up period venue.
