Ever since the publication of her book Private in 2003, Alison Jackson has been holding a mirror up to us and our obsession with celebrity; and we, like contemporary Narcissi, just can't stop staring. Private featured photos of Becks and Sven lookalikes in unguarded, comical moments, and while Jackson uses more contemporary doppelgangers in this, her first solo show in five years, little else has changed in her work — a comment, perhaps, on fame being the modern equivalent of the Emperor's new clothes.
