This year's fortnight-long showcase comprises nearly 50 films, from art shorts — including a 15-minute piece by Turner Prize nominee Mona Hatoum — to political documentaries. Highlights include Najwa Najjar's portrait of her grandparents, Naim and Wadee'a, and Jean-Luc Godard's 2004 feature on the Israel-Palestine conflict and war in Bosnia, Notre Musique.
