View our sprawling urban mass anew through the eyes of an architect with Ben Williams' debut solo exhibition, Turned On and Switched Off. The self-described "enthusiastic amateur" photographer shoots everyday metropolitan scenes and subjects, from derelict building sites to neon lights, explaining that his day job inspires/forces him to maintain a relentless awareness of his surroundings. Launching at east London's Dreamspace Gallery, which was originally set up to showcase the finest in architecture, interiors, graphics and product design, Williams' show makes for simultaneously considered and unstructured viewing.
