Liliane Lijn's fascination with cosmic forces continues with Stardust. The kinetic artist explores the relationship between space and time by using light, sound and movement to reveal the unseen forces around us. Her work with NASA scientists and observations as an artist-in-residence at UC Berkeley's Space Sciences Laboratory allowed her to capture the dust of long-dead stars and comets, and it is these interstellar works that are unveiled to the world for the first time tonight at Riflemaker, formerly an old gun factory.
