Modern, functional design has long been synonymous with architect Richard Rogers, who's stamped his distinctive imprint on buildings throughout Europe. To appropriately honour his career, the Design Museum presents Richard Rogers & Architects: From the House to the City, featuring a detailed overview of his works, including the Welsh National Assembly, the Millennium Dome, the Lloyd's of London's headquarters and, of course, Paris' audacious Pompidou Centre — a gridded, scaffolding-like creation that, when it was unveiled, split popular opinion, but also served to propel Rogers out of obscurity and squarely into the spotlight.
