White Rabbits could easily be dismissed as just another hyped-up Brooklyn band of the moment, but last year's stunningly original Fort Nightly — a pleasing jumble of indie rock, ska and even calypso — sets them apart from the pack. TBD Records (home of Radiohead) took notice and signed the band for its second album. Live, you'll take notice too, as White Rabbits' two drummers and melodramatic, densely layered vocals highlight their intense sets.
