Music student Mica Levi (aka Micachu) may only be 21, but her delicate, bittersweet take on grime-pop has a mature, Bowie-esque quality hidden in its fragmented, quirky melodies. With Matthew Herbert providing rough-edged, crackling beats for her debut single "Lone Ranger" and support slots for Mystery Jets under her belt, Micachu will surely be popping up more in the future. Tonight, she performs at the single-launch party for Reading-based indie-popsters Pete & the Pirates.
