Norwegian songstress Susanna K. Wallumrod teams up with keyboardist Morten Qvenild to create hauntingly beautiful music. Alongside the duo's original compositions, Susanna works an eclectic bunch of covers into the melancholic mix; she tackles everything from the desolate poetry of Leonard Cohen and Joy Division to AC/DC and Kiss' crotch-grabbing classics, turning the source material into touching electronic pieces with soft, downtempo vocals. Heavy rock's creative produce has rarely sounded so nicely understated.
