Whitehouse are the godfathers of power electronics, spearheading the bloody industrial revolution for the past three decades. With just a laptop and microphone, they generate harsh, head-crushing, relentless tundras of white noise overlaid with potent, vitriolic ranting at the audience. Whitehouse seem to hate everything with such conviction it's a little scary — and their steadfast agenda makes for one of the most brutally effective live shows around. It's the sound of the end of music (and by extension, the world), and it's absolutely convincing.
