More Flavor: Party Showing @ Late
-
- Still from Cheat Neutral
With less than four months until the second annual Canary Wharf Film Festival — a four-day celebration of local short-film talent — the Museum in Docklands is showing last year's winners to whet our appetites. In Noel Kearns' The Cleaner, an emigrant worker at a London hospital helps translate for a critically injured patient, only to recognise the man as a notorious criminal from his homeland; animation category winner London After the Rain imagines the city as a future wildlife utopia; and docu-short Cheat Neutral skewers the carbon-offset fad in hilarious style. The cinematic event is part of the museum's monthly Late series, with in-house indie band the Explainers providing musical support.
