Music: Classical Soundings IV: Exploring the Score

Tune in to contemporary instrumental music at the Austrian Cultural Forum's showcase for young composers and performers from Austria and the UK. Throughout the day, composers put the finishing touches to their scores, while visitors join in discussions with Annette Morreau — the writer and broadcaster who founded the Contemporary Music Network — and Soundings project manager Andrea Rauter. The evening show promises a fine mix of the contemporary and the experimental, from the world premiere of Judith Unterpertinger's …of Leaves (Part II), a piece for two vocalists, clarinet and flute, to solo pieces for piano and violin.
