The four Hungarian painters featured in this exhibition have all witnessed their fair share of sociopolitical upheaval, having lived through Communism, its breakdown and the subsequent turmoil of emergent democracy. From the free-flowing, abstract rhythms of Zsolt Bodoni to Roland Horvath's portraits of quotidian household appliances, the show highlights the diversity and rising ambition of a European nation.
