Music: Rock/Pop Royworld

Royworld were born in 2006, when four friends (oddly, none of them named Roy) at Goldsmiths College got together to update/resuscitate early-'80s stadium rock. The band blend the likes of Keane and the Feeling with Talking Heads, throwing in a dash of Futureheads for good measure. Like so many angst-free, feel-good bands these days, Royworld haven't seen much love from the music press for radio-friendly anthems such as "Man in the Machine" or epic new single "Dust". Disregarding journo pretense, though, this is really for anyone who likes their music sweeping, emotive and loud.
