The synth-pop chanteuse Yelle hops la manche for one night only. The 25-year-old from Saint-Brieuc (her real name is Julie Budet) signed to the EMI-owned label Source etc. on the basis of a few tracks, and has already toured Europe with Mika. Her playful music is based on French electro-funk tropes, but understanding the lingo isn't a prerequisite for getting down.
