Animal Collective, New York's experimental darlings, perform in support of Water Curses, their new album. The four strangely named musicians mix primal rhythms, shimmering guitars and vocals that are alternately screamed and murmured; the result is chaotic yet sublime, teetering on the edge of hysteria. It's a delight to listen to, but even better to witness live.
