Performing Arts: Spoken Word Robert Minhinnick "Under the Influence" of Derek Walcott

At Covent Garden's Arts Theatre, Robert Minhinnick, one of the UK's most respected poets (as well as a co-founder of Friends of the Earth Wales), discusses the influence of writer Derek Walcott on his work. Minhinnick was born in Wales, and Walcott in St Lucia, but as the former demonstrates through readings of both writers' work, there are some rich connections between the wilds of the Welsh coastland and the shores of the Caribbean.
