Friday 23 May (8pm)
Host Viktor Wynd invites you to a night of debauchery and feasting in celebration of St Vitus — the saint of dancing mania, epileptics and dogs — set in ancient crypts below the Barbican. Gary Valentine Lachman of Blondie and Iggy Pop fame gets the evening off to a melancholic start with an introduction to his tome The Dedalus Book of Literary Suicides. Afterward, languish among intoxicating flora and bloodied faux animal corpses to the cadences of the Alan Weekes Quartet and the bluegrass blend of the Hanging Ropes. Dress for the occasion: beautiful and damned, clearly.
