If you're one of the few not leaving town for May's final Bank Holiday, there's no need to fear boredom: the Tate Modern has put together an eclectic schedule of art and performances, all curated by the surreal-minded Fluxus artists. On Saturday, join artist Alison Knowles for a snack, as she makes a giant salad (lettuce, tomatoes, dressing and all) to be eaten by 300 onlookers. Or, instead of watching football down the pub, catch one of the Flux-Olympiad events, where the sport is played with stilts and a balloon shotput. These, and other weird and wonderful attractions, are enough to make Turbine Hall seem like a holiday destination unto itself.
