Tonight, sample-happy producer Daedelus lays down the leftfield grooves from his latest album, Love to Make Music To. The electronic guru's offbeat, Edwardian style of dress and obscure, Dadaist personal idiosyncracies complement his music: a danceable mix of fractured hip-hop beats, swooning strings and crackling cult-film quotes. This launch party features prizes for the finest bearers of fancy frills and frock coats, and musical support from Cadence Weapon (aka rapid-fire Canadian rapper Rollie Pemberton), along with a brace of UK acts.
