Art Deej Fabyc: Cat House Camp

Artist Deej Fabyc's latest show involves her napping inside a hut that has Andy Warhol's Sleep (a five-and-a-half-hour film of New York beat poet John Giorno in repose) projected onto its side. The circular hut is an artwork in and of itself, constructed entirely from plastic water bottles and other found objects. On opening night, Oreet Ashery and a few other renowned female artists perform tableaux to complement Fabyc's installation, while photographers Kim Fielding and Hugo Glendinning record the event for posterity.
