Saul Williams — poet, singer, actor and quite possibly the coolest wordsmith alive — is back in London. After taking Cargo apart in February with a spoken-word retrospective as part of the London Word Festival, Williams returns as his alter ego, messenger to the people Niggy Tardust. Touring the world on the Tar Spangled Banner Tour to promote his recent The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Niggy Tardust! (produced by Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor) and spread the lost teachings of hip-hop, his unique philosophical alt-hip-hop/electro genius scratches the parts that mainstream rap just can't reach.
