Hervé Ingrand's La Découverte du Cabinet de Dessins (The Discovery of the Cabinet of Drawings) takes over Mummery + Schnelle for the next few months, turning the young gallery into a literal container for the artist's oeuvre. Paris-born Ingrand showcases a variety of paintings and drawings — some made during childhood — in several media. Delicate pastel strokes contrast sharply with angry lead scrawls and, as the exhibition's title suggests, many pieces offer glimpses of things previously obscured.
