The boyz in question here are Michael Nunn and William Trevitt, who controversially bowed out of the Royal Ballet in 1998 to form K Ballet with Japanese principal dancer Tetsuya Kumakawa — before "artistic differences" saw them leave (again) to create their own company, this time named after their infamous Channel 4 documentaries, in 2001. Since then, renowned choreographers such as Russell Maliphant and Christopher Wheeldon have created innovative and daring works specifically for the duo; for this showcase, Trevitt and Nunn choose highlights from their seven-year dance portfolio.
