Another act on NY dark-disco label Italians Do It Better, Glass Candy (no more "Shattered Theatre" in their name) make their first live appearance in the UK. The Portland, Oregon duo — formed by uber-stylish frontwoman Ida No and multi-instrumentalist/producer Johnny Jewel (also of Chromatics fame) — deliver an eclectic retro sound, permeated by vintage synths and drum machines and taking in everything from glam rock and raw post-punk to shadowy electronica. Also on the bill is label co-founder Mike Simonetti, spinning a mix of obscure disco, krautrock and electronic tracks.
